About Candace
I am a Henry nominated actress known for playing diverse characters ranging from Jane Austen’s Elizabeth Bennett to rocker Eddie Van Halen. When I step into my booth, I bring skills honed by a Master’s degree in theatre and 20+ years of acting and directing for the stage.
While there's a special place in my heart for literary fiction, thrillers, and romcoms, I’m drawn to any story that captures people existing within duality: strong yet delicate, confident yet insecure, proud yet broken. Performing within such disparate tensions is my sweet spot, whether within the realm of the comedic or dramatic.
I've played ingenues and killers, a brothel owner, a rock star, a mathematician, a university administrator, a queen, a lawyer. I've been a mother multiple times over, I've been rich, I've been poor, I've died, I've even come back to life. I can bring the danger and I can also win your heart.
As a lifelong storyteller, I am driven by the conviction that a story well told has the power to connect, transform, and empower.

🧳 I was the Education Director for five years for a non-profit focused on child trafficking prevention and child abuse. I created a multi-media prevention curriculum used today in schools and youth programs across the US and Mexico.
🚌 I was certified for many years to teach secondary education, and taught in middle school, high school, and college classrooms.
🦖 I worked as an education program manager at an internationally famous dinosaur track site.
🪴 Finally, I also offer professional home organization, helping families declutter, organize, and create systems to keep their homes functioning without mess or stress.
